What is Grace?
Grace is the opposite of work. Grace is not earned, deserved, merited, or forced upon. Grace is a free gift only to be received. It’s impossible to work for something that is free. Look how Paul defined Grace in Romans 11:6,
“And if by Grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise Grace is no more Grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more Grace: otherwise work is no more work.”
Does this sound good?
It should sound very good! It should sound like really good news! In fact, the word “Gospel” means “good news” in the Greek (why Greek?.. because the New Testament was written in Greek).
So, It’s safe to say that anything you hear that’s not good news is not the Gospel. The good news is this: Jesus paid for all your sins (past, present, and future sins), and didn’t leave any for you to pay for. The good news is this also, GRACE and RIGHTEOUSNESS is FREE!!! Yes that’s right, FREE!!!
You might say, “I’m not a good person, I sin often.” The Gospel says, “where sin abounded, GRACE does MUCH more!”
Receive the free gift today. There is nothing you can do to make God love you more, because you never did anything to make Him start loving you. Love is who God is, and He knows exactly how to represent His nature in all your failures.
